On Thursday the 27th September, Canterbury Vale students went on a reward excursion to Taronga Zoo. 8 students and 4 staff travelled on a mini bus with Mr Young driving us there. When we arrived we headed straight to the Koala enclosure then we visited the monkeys. The monkeys were pretty funny, they were fighting each other while they were climbing up the ropes. Next we headed to the flight simulator to take a flight over the Savannah. We saw 2 Sumatran Tigers walking around. Then we visited the elephant enclosure where they were enjoying a bath. Finally we ate our lunch and then took a ride in the cable car over the zoo. It was then time to head back to school. We had a great time and I would like to go back and see more of the animals.
